Specialized wire bonding and die bonding solutions

Model 572A Thermosonic Wedge Bonder

With HYBOND Soft-Touch bonding technology for sensitive materials

A proven world-wide track record for reliability and bonding control.

Model 572A’s motorized wire feed and wire/ribbon clamping system provide precise wire/ribbon control. Operators can easily adjust tail and pull lengths at a turn of a dial to enable bonding and cutting of softer (higher elongation) wires than conventionally used for wedge bonding.

  • Precise feed system for superior control
  • Intuitive front panel controls
  • Soft-Touch™ bonding for reduced damage
  • Infinite-angle microscope mounting

Superior wire/ribbon sensitivity and control with more wire/ribbon options

Model 572A has the flexibility to vary the amount of clamp “pull back” required to break the wire at the final bond, allowing the use of softer wires with higher elongation. Ease of operation features include a built-in work stage temperature controller, front panel independent controls for first and second bond, U/S, Time and Force as well as ultrasonic testing.
